Nelson Diplexcito (b. 1966) is a painter who has exhibited internationally and nationally since graduating from The Royal College of Art in 1990. Since 1990, he has taught painting at a range of institutions including, Grays School of Art, Aberdeen, Loughborough University School of Art and Design, The Kent institute of Art and Design, The Folkhogskola in Gothenburg, Wimbledon College of Arts and is currently Senior Lecturer in Painting at Camberwell College of Arts and a Visiting Tutor at the Art Academy. In 2023 the first monograph of his work, Nelson Diplexcito: Orpheus Street Paintings was launched at TM Gallery in London. |
Ann Jones Ann Jones has worked as a curator at Tate, Hayward Touring and the Arts Council Collection. She is a fluent Welsh speaker and now lives in North Wales and has worked in a freelance capacity on various exhibitions and projects in Wales for many years. She is currently working with Ruthin Craft Centre on a printmaking project. |
Bronwen Lewis After starring in the BAFTA Award Winning and Golden Globe nominated film 'Pride' (where she sang the theme song 'Bread and Roses') and bringing Tom Jones to tears during her time on BBC's The Voice in 2013, Bronwen set out into the world to create her own path in music. Her TikTok following now stands at over 40,000 fans after she went viral for her popular Welsh translations, being championed on BBC Radio 1 to 10 million listeners by renowned DJs Greg James and Scott Mills. She went on to teach the UK the Welsh anthem by appearing on Good Morning Britain during the Euros, and performed the anthem live on air to millions. Bronwen's TikToks even made it to the Oscars stage in 2022, when her version of 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' was played to millions around the world. Her cover of Dafydd Iwan's Yma O Hyd was used for an FAW advert and also during an episode of Disney's Welcome to Wrexham, getting high praise from Dafydd, Rob and Ryan. She continues to inspire new generations to learn and speak Welsh in her own modern way and loves performing all over the UK. She is currently planning an arena tour for 2025, will be hosting the new series of Canu Gyda Fy Arwr on S4C and hosts her own Radio shows - every Sunday 12-3pm and a Country Music show every Wednesday evening 7-10pm on BBC Radio Wales. |
