Statement:
I make paintings that narrate my own lived experience as a queer non-binary artist; they are a synthesis of my day-to-day life. My most recent work forms an attempt to reconcile an angry, confused adolescence with the stillness of self-acceptance found in my mid-twenties.
Headless figures and disembodied limbs co-exist alongside everyday objects in a world saturated with oil paint. This liminal space between the real and the imagined and past and the present is where my work often lies.
